workaday Thursday: update

marcicat*New CEO has been introduced! No one has been fired yet!
*Although I assume "transformative growth" means "we're going to reorganize any departments we feel like," but that's not really a new level of risk, just a slightly different perspective on it.
*Thank goodness for online meetings, because being off video and on mute keep me from getting myself in trouble.
*I worked in customer service over the phone for several years, which got me in the habit of expressing all my feelings on my face so that they wouldn't show up in my voice. Now I've been told my face 'takes a journey' every time I'm in a meeting.
*At the end of the presentation, they asked for questions. I have many, but happily managed to keep my mouth shut.
*I mean, except for writing this post about it.
*Does that count?
*That probably counts.
