PREPTOBER UPDATE

marcicatMy AWESOME 2024 NOVEMBER STORY (working title, lol) currently has a "plot outline" consisting of 18 bullet points. Three of them are blank.
The first one is "introduce characters," which seems very boring. Could use some work, honestly. And yet, there's a compelling argument to be made for starting the story with such a thing. ::contemplative staring off into the distance::
The other outline entries include such gems as "ahhhhh a monster!" and "something about the anomaly." It's not really a 'plan,' as such, ::checks calendar:: but there's still time! Maybe it will grow! Maybe I'll change my mind entirely! Maybe I'll think of a really funny dialogue exchange, decide to write 50,000 words just to frame it, and then wind up not including it! THESE THINGS HAPPEN.
