Oct. 15th, 2025 06:40 amWORKPLACE DRAMA UPDATE: not much of an actual update, except confirmation that there is an unusual amount of secrecy around employee #2's leave of absence. BUT I realized yesterday that this makes TWO FOR TWO in the most unusual workplace team-building coincidence: being on a team-building team with me makes executives leave the company.
2024: I was on a company team-building event team with the CEO. Several weeks later: CEO announces they are leaving the company.
2025: I was on a company team-building event with the [honestly, who can keep up with how they keep shuffing titles around? idk, someone who manages people and attends important meetings, possibly not actually an executive, but like, the level right below that?] Several weeks later: same employee is on Mystery Leave.
So yeah, it's definitely one of those 'I'd only have two nickels, but it's still weird that it's happened twice' situations.
