obligatory weather post

I believe the technical weather term for our current status is “brain meltingly hot.”

Which is not to say I’m longing for winter, or anything. No way. More like it’s hard to see the benefits of doing anything except lounging in front of a fan, icy cold beverage close at hand.

(I keep reminding myself that I have things to do, like laundry, but so far I am not convinced.)

I hope you get some relief! We've swapped our intense heat for severe thunderstorms and cold nights, which at least means I can sleep again. It's supposed to get hot again here for the weekend. WEATHER!!! ::shakes fist:::

Oh wow. That's what we've all been praying fror. The monsoon season is just taunting us this year, the clouda linger on the horizon, but it's still dry as a bone.
