going to a concert!

marcicat1. Three days in a row off from work is officially long enough for me to forget EVERYTHING. I have to keep reminding myself that I’m still employed, and that the store is open today, and I should probably check my email to make sure nothing has happened that might require me to pay attention.
2. *Andrea and I are going to a concert! Like an actual concert, with tickets and concession stands and taking place in an arena. It has been (::counts::) a long time since I did this (once before); definitely more than ten years.
3. Re: the concert. I have ear plugs and allergen-free snacks (and Advil), and I can honestly say I’m freaking out. I’m *terrible* at doing new things. But it’s Trans-Siberian Orchestra! And if I wait this long to go to another concert, I’ll be over 40 and that seems safely far in the future. I figure this outing gets me enough normal person socialization points to cover me for a while.
