moving on!

I’m so over being stressed by family stuff right now. Apparently, that has led to me ignoring it and reading fic instead! Which, let’s be honest, is probably a better use of time all around anyway.

Here are three good ones about Clint, Phil, and Natasha, in various combinations:

Elephant in the room, by haipollai
The one where Phil hates paperwork. Clint spends some time thinking he’s just a typical suit, so it takes him a while to catch on.

It was all crumpled papers, crumpled forms. The top one had been started before Coulson had apparently given up and drawn an elephant in the blank space.

Save Yourself, by ghostrunner
The one where Natasha, Clint, and Phil are in an established relationship. (or, as the author calls it, “hurt/comfort curtain!fic”)

‘Natasha knows best’ is the first house rule. There are a lot of unwritten corollaries to it like, ‘except in the kitchen’ and ‘unless Coulson is diametrically opposed’, but it still holds in most situations.

Hope is Not a Course of Action, by thatdamneddame
The one where Natasha isn’t actually a rogue agent, and Clint does actually have as many trust issues as he thinks he does, and Coulson is just plain awesome.

And Clint, feeling exposed without a weapon, says, “Gee, thanks. I’ve always wanted to be someone’s pet felon.” Coulson just says, “It’s important to reach for the stars.”
