I suggest a new strategy.
Aug. 2nd, 2012 08:58 pmMy computer at work is slow. Slow like a turtle. A turtle that’s upside down. Like, sometimes there is flailing, and I think it’s working, but then no, not so much.
Old strategy: Discourage others from using said computer. Because one, skyrocketing stress from trying to get a basic google search to load isn’t good for employee morale. And two, maybe it just requires a delicate finagling, like the laminator. (Note: This strategy is superb for the laminator. Me and the laminator are buds.)
New strategy: Encourage everyone to use said computer. Because okay, it’s a *little* funny. And two, if one of *them* breaks it in a fit of rage, totally not my fault! And three, I want backup if by some miracle it makes it to the end of the year, at which point I have vowed to stop being cowardly and ask my boss for a new one.
PLAN: ACTIVATE!
