I remember being pretty freaked out when Riker said “Fire,” and that was in the days when “hiatus” wasn’t even a commonly used term. Shows just kind of… went on summer vacation and ran reruns for a few months.

But can I just say I’m actually kind of glad that Sleepy Hollow doesn’t come back until the fall? I mean, sure, it’s ridiculous, but at the same time awesome. The showrunners had their chance, and now the fans get a turn.

(In other words, cliffhangers don’t bother me as much now that I can just be like ‘READ ALL THE FANFIC? YES PLEASE’)
