last A-Monday of the year

Apparently, there is an animal called the Agouti. It seems that “Agouti” can refer to a variety of South American rodents (thanks, wikipedia!), but since you could legitimately say, “Hey look, an agouti!” I figure it counts.

Plus, the general term agouti DOES include an animal called the acouchi (not even kiding), which is just — what a find for the end of the month! I would have picked the acouchi for today, but I thought the agouti picture was cuter.
