Now that we’re in a bit closer quarters at work, and now that there’s not a ridiculously loud air conditioning unit directly behind my chair, I find myself in the position of wanting to wear my earbuds a lot more.

Even better, it’s (apparently; no one’s yelled at me yet) allowed to have earbuds pumping music into my ears *under* my phone headset. (I tried using a one-ear headset, so I had one ear free for music, but for various reasons I like the two-ear headset better.)

My only problem is that I don’t tend to find earbuds of any variety that I’ve tried to be comfortable for long periods of time. Google has been surprisingly reticent on the topic of ‘I want to wear earbuds under my phone headset at work.’ It seems to think perhaps I meant ‘I want to ear earbuds while I work out,’ which is really not the issue.

I don’t need to move around much, and I don’t care much about sound quality. And I don’t want/need a high degree of sound canceling, because that would pretty much defeat the point. Anyone else have experience with this situation? Suggestions?
