AVENGIN’ WEEKEND

Since I’m going to see the the new AVENGERS movie this afternoon, it would seem to be the perfect moment to share this quote about the utter ridiculousness of superhero team names:

“Your Avengers are charming, very nice people. We’re called the Ultimates in my world, I don’t know if I mentioned.”

“The ultimate whats?” Steve asked.

“What exactly are you avenging?” other-Tony shot back.

“We just decided it was a catchy name,” Steve said thoughtfully.
