team building: mission accomplished
Jul. 16th, 2015 08:34 amWell, our second team-building event of the year has officially been accomplished. I can also now say that I have experienced: go karts, laser tag, and a laser maze.
My Thoughts:
1. Go Karts — Driving for me is pretty much a combination of terror and boredom, and go karts turned out to be much the same. Probably would have had a blast if I’d had earplugs and no other drivers had been on the course.
2. Laser Tag — Fun, and a surprisingly good workout. Helpful that it’s dark and hard to see anything, since it takes out a lot of potential for hurt feelings. (Who shot me? I don’t know, it was dark!)
3. Laser Maze — Who knew learning the army crawl for karate relay races would come in handy all these years later? No surprise that the activity you did completely solo was my favorite.
Overall:
No one cried or was injured, and we did not get lost driving there (or back). Not sure we’re any more team-y than we were before, but if it keeps the PTB happy, I’m fine with saying we are.
