So it turns out the phrase is “easy peasy lemon squeezy,” and not — as I’ve thought all this time — “easy peasy lemon breezy.”

On the plus side, I think I’ve pretty much managed to convince my coworkers that either is acceptable, so there’s that.

[And this is the crazy thing about working in an office with cubicles — since we can’t actually see each other most of the time, there’s all these out-loud things we do instead, just as a sort of verbal check-in. I’m sure somewhere someone’s written a hilarious/terrifying ‘office gothic’ post based on that.]
