movie review: Dawn of Justice

So I saw ‘Batman vs Superman: This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things’ this weekend. And you know what I would have liked to see? The Wonder Woman cut of this movie. Two hours and 33 minutes of Diana Prince doing whatever it was she was doing the whole time.

A travel montage — that would be fun! Checking into a hotel! Emailing folks back home! What does Wonder Woman eat for breakfast? Driving fast! Stealing stuff! Reverse stealing stuff! Packing her luggage! Sign me up for that movie.

I loved that she took no crap from Bruce Wayne and was totally ready to peace out and leave them to it. (And that she decided not to.) I almost cheered when she first appeared on screen, but it didn’t seem to be that sort of audience, so I tried to keep it a little quieter.
