astonishingly, not a joke
Apr. 2nd, 2016 06:38 amSometimes my workplace really outdoes itself in the realm of ‘who thought this would be a good idea?’ I arrived yesterday to see this sign on the bathroom door:
If I hadn’t seen the same signs all sitting on the front desk all week, I would have assumed it was an April Fool’s joke. I mean, obviously the first question is — why the tractor? And why the tractor in that layout, so that it appears the restroom is open to people with triangles, people without triangles, and machines?
But the part that really, truly made me boggle is whatever the triangle person is holding. Is it a pail? A flower pot? A purse? Is triangle person a superhero wearing a cape and carrying their civilian clothes in a handbag?
I would say thank goodness the person without triangles makes it clear that bringing an accessory isn’t a requirement, but based on the hand positioning, it’s entirely possible they’re bringing in the tractor, so who knows.
