must be Thursday

Me (staring at computer screen): ‘It’s been 40 minutes and I still haven’t thought of anything to write.’

Me (checks calendar): ‘Ah, it’s Thursday. That explains it.’

What is it about Thursdays? Consistently the day I have nothing good to say, and so my brain blanks on saying anything at all.

Luckily it turns out the Bangor Maine PD had the same thought this morning, and shared some words of wisdom for the day.

“If this is the case, then we all know we can push forward and power through.

The warm Betty Crocker bundt cake waiting on the counter is like the Friday we have been waiting for since Monday. It’s chocolate.
