Jan. 24th, 2018 05:58 am*First time having a cold in my new job; not my favorite milestone, but there it is.
*I'm not sure I actually do any less work when I'm sick, but I'm definitely less good at *looking* like I'm working. (A lot more staring aimlessly into space instead of frowning intently at my screen.)
*It did make my meeting with my boss (also sick) slightly more hilarious, as we both basically sat there and said things like 'so everything's good?' 'yeah, things are good' and were just grateful that there were no hard questions.
*Unrelated to my cold, I dreamed last night about a past job, and in the dream I said, " I think I made the right choice." The whole thing was a little weird, but I guess kudos to you, past self!
