Grocery store super glue is super effective in fixing up minor problems with ceramic-type floor tiles!
(The kitchen tiles in my apartment are some kind of ceramic, which makes them delightfully cool in hot weather. They are also kind of old? And recently a small piece broke off, which has now successfully been repaired with the super glue I got at the grocery store last week. Victory!)
((I struggled to figure out how to handle the tiles in cold weather, because they can get uncomfortably chilly, but rugs are so slippery! And sure, I could do a rug liner thing, but rugs are already expensive, and they seem complicated. Best solution I’ve found so far: YOGA MATS. They’re inexpensive, they come in an enormous variety of colors and patterns, they’re grippy, and if I find myself wanting to do a quick bit of stretching — boom, yoga mat, right there!))
