survived the 5K

It didn’t start raining in earnest until I’d passed the first mile marker, and by that point I was committed, you know? Anyway, it was fine. The rain just encouraged me to walk faster.

The BEST (where best=’not actually good, but not really bad, just kind of funny in an adulting!fail kind of way’) part of the day was that on the drive home I got super chilled, so once I was back I bundled up and got cozy and all those good things. Except it was actually pretty warm out, so at 3 in the afternoon I woke up from a thirty minute nap with my temperature regulation working again, realized it was 72F degrees in my apartment and I was wearing three layers, and thought, ‘what the heck?’

In conclusion: SPRING! In New Hampshire! So confusing!
