workaday update
Jan. 30th, 2020 05:45 am*Audit update: despite being told THREE times throughout the morning that I was probably, definitely, most likely going to be called in, I was not! #winning
*Hoodie update: I stealth-hoodied yesterday, wearing one that was super lightweight so I could just put it under something else. (Thus defeating any point except the sheer contrary joy of the whole thing.) Today I will wear my 'I walked 3 miles in the rain on Thanksgiving' hoodie proudly.
*Meeting update: I am scheduled for a grand total of four hours worth of meetings today (5 separate meetings, what? why?). If I am very, very lucky, this will turn into fewer hours. (Sometimes meetings end early?)
*Feedback update: My workplace loves to collect feedback. In fact, they've specifically said that if they don't get the answer they're looking for from a feedback request, they'll just keep on asking until they do! (This was said at an official meeting, so I can only guess they didn't realize how much that... isn't really how feedback is supposed to work?) But now they are trying to request some feedback about a *different* official meeting, and after much consideration, I decided to accidentally on purpose lose the email. Perhaps my thoughts are best left unsaid this time.
*Fic update: Every day I am grateful that my job includes reading pdf files, and every day I hope that no one can see my screen clearly enough to tell that the pdf files I'm reading are actually fanfic.
