Sep. 6th, 2022 05:52 am*We need the rain, although ALL AT ONCE is maybe not the most ideal delivery method. The drought has been ongoing long enough that a rainy day feels like a novelty, but I admit I miss the sunshine.
*When my alarm woke me up this morning, my first thought was 'nooooooooooo!' I'm not ready to go back to work.
*But! In a stroke of (potential) genius, I put in for a day off *this* Friday. Lots of people took last Friday off, to make a four-day weekend, which was clever! But I thought two three-day weekends might work better for my brain. And it means this week is only three days long! Set achievable goals, right?
