no mail, it's a holiday
Jul. 4th, 2023 07:02 am*No mail is cool, except that it means my delicious coffee shipment won't arrive until Wednesday. Which would also be cool, except that it was supposed to arrive yesterday, and now I'm all grumpy that it's off schedule.
*If I had ever entertained the thought that I could handle living somewhere rainforest-y (haha I have not, I know myself that well, at least), recent weather would certainly have convinced me otherwise. It's so humid I want to cry. How can I feel stiflingly hot and also uncomfortably chilled at the same time??? I just want to breathe some fresh air and have my headache go away!
*Despite the weather, it is holiday party day! Big plans today: Grocery store! Crafting! Takeout! Star Trek!
*Crafting? Crafting! That's me, jumping on the paracord bracelet trend (many) years later, with a kids craft kit. (It has glowing whistle buckles! Everything's in one neat little box! Kids craft kits are great, and they just let anyone buy them!)
