On the list of 'things this month neither needed nor was expected to include': tornado warnings. I genuinely didn't even know that my phone would make a special noise for emergency weather alerts, and now I've heard it twice in one day.

(Luckily we have not seen any actual tornadoes thus far, nor do we think we are at major risk of flooding. Still keeping our fingers crossed.)
