workaday Wednesday
Jul. 3rd, 2024 07:28 amIt's a 'holiday week' at work, which means it's closed for the 4th, and 'open' the rest of the week. Can confirm some work has been done, but it's a bit like doing work the week of Thanksgiving -- if no one is going to see/read/care about that email until the next week anyway, how important is it really to send it immediately?
In other work news, my boss has (as of July 1st) officially assigned our annual goals for 2024. (Why did it take six months for the organization to come up with goals that were essentially just last year's goals again? A CORPORATE MYSTERY. I GUESS WE'LL NEVER KNOW.)
