I'm always admiring the moss stitch in pictures of other peoples' crochet projects, but the first time I tried it, the results were not fantastic. (It was fine! Just not as pretty as it seemed to look in pictures!)

ANYWAY I decided to try it again for part of my current blanket project, and idk, it is about the same as before. It's one of those stitches that each row goes really quick, but also each row doesn't make much progress? So it's like 'ooh I've done 8 rows!' and also '8 rows is not even two inches though.'

I really want to like the moss stitch, because it's pretty fun to do, and I might try it again with a thicker yarn, but so far it's not my favorite. I am nevertheless DETERMINED to use it to finish out this skein of yarn. Based on my calculations that will be just a few more inches, or approximately 10,000 rows of the moss stitch, lol.
