Dec. 2nd, 2024 07:43 amAfter a genuinely delightful four-day weekend, today is back-to-work day, which sure is something. Good news! It means I can use actual work time to get ready for the NEXT two days, when my physical presence will be required* on-site at work.
(*It is not required in the 'objectively important' way. It's more the 'my boss strongly implied that my presence was EXPECTED, and they haven't pushed me to be on-site since September, so it didn't seem THAT unmanageable.)
(**LOLOLOLOLOL it is very, very, very silly though. The key element of the two days is some presentations, which will be -- of course! -- done on the computer. So instead of everyone sitting quietly in their own homes looking at a slide deck, everyone will instead sit quietly in the same room and look at the slide deck.)
