marcicatLatest light count from my drive home tonight: 120 houses with lights up! (AND there were a few that I couldn’t count that I know have had lights on when I’ve gone by later in the evening. Next week I’ll go for a later time, and see if I can edge the count even a little higher. Counting stuff — makes driving more fun!)

He figures Jesus must be being born and wonders how the wise men are meant to find the baby. (He looks in on a pantomime in the 1760′s: apparently an owl showed them the way. An owl. All the carols are weird, because nothing really appropriate rhymes with owl.)
