I am both impressed and proud.

My workplace Secret Snowflake gets an A+ from me. I am impressed that they managed to discern three key facts about me. (And also proud of myself for being sharing-y, because usually my reviews contain tidbits like ‘not social’ and ‘doesn’t engage with coworkers.’)

But one of my coworkers totally knows that I:

1. like the Avengers
2. write stuff
3. don’t like spiders

And they made these!

Just phone pix, so the photo-quality is not awesome. But the titles of these future novels of awesome are “The Adventures of Marvelous Marci vs. All The Spiders: Part 1″ and “The Adventures of Marvelous Marci: Part Two Return of the Spiders.”

I feel like the pressure was on for my Secret Snowflake, since I knew who they were from the start, and I am super impressed. Those are journals with comic book heroes on them! And my name! (I have yet to get past the age where I love seeing my name all over things.) THANK YOU SECRET SNOWFLAKE!
