I can’t even with this day.

Today at lunch I wound up in conversation with my new!work “neighbor” and my new!work boss. And we were all bemoaning the fact that we can’t keep up with technology and have the sneaking sensation that we are falling further and further behind. This was essentially our conversation:

“Kids these days!”
“What even!”
“Snapchat?!”
“WTF Tumblr? Instagram?”
“When I was a kid…”
“But cat videos!”

The takeaway from my day:

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT’S HAPPENING OR IF I APPROVE. PLEASE ADVISE. BUT NOT VIA SNAPCHAT, BECAUSE I STILL HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THAT IS.

Snapchat, as far as I know, is like IM and Instagram had a baby. From what I understand you take a pic and send it, then it gets deleted after the person has viewed? I do not have a smart phone, so I'm not to certain. But a couple friends have it, so I've heard about it. It can apparently be quite annoying when people, um, snapchat you, I guess, a lot.
