But this one I’m going to write online, so I guess it’s not really in that category.

Ever since I was hired at my current job, there has been talk of switching my schedule to 12-8:30 pm. It’s the schedule I was hired for, but for a variety of reasons it hasn’t materialized as of yet. I’m pretty sure it’s coming, though, and I’m still not sure how I feel about it.

I do know that every time my boss says, “I like coming in early; I’m much more of a morning person,” I have to stop myself from saying, “Yes, me too.”

I mean, I’m not 100% a morning person, but I am generally a lot more productive at home between the hours of, say, 8 and 11 am, than I am from 7 to 10 pm. And just the structure of my workplace pretty much ensures that I will be adequately productive during the hours I am there, but home time could really go either way. So I guess I figure, why waste my good hours at work?

But yeah, really trying not to SAY that at work.

That's the same reason I like working mornings! Because I feel more creative in the evenings (not sure about productive, but I write much better later) so I figure I might as well be at work during "bad writing time" ♥
