yard sale weekend!

Yesterday was a big yard sale day around here, so off we went to brave the heat and humidity. I was feeling very kitchen-y, so of course I grabbed up this nifty slicer/grater/shredder. (Just one dollar!) Then I got it home and took it out of the box.

Keeping in mind that I have never owned (or used) ANY of those three kitchen tools in my life, I discovered a vast chasm between my understanding of implements and my ability to put this device together. Even with the “directions” included in the box, it was baffling.

Kitchen tools, man. They’re not kidding around.
