Happy Valentines Day!

Also, a long weekend for some! (And another snowstorm; no need to dwell on that.) This is the first time I’ve had a job that actually gets Presidents Day off, and I’ve been looking forward to it. Which led to this conversation at work this week:

Boss (to whole team): “So we’re closed on Monday. Technically. Does anyone want to do some work from home anyway and get overtime?”

::some people totally volunteer, because overtime rocks::

Me: “I… have plans.” (My plans: to not be working.)

Boss: “Sounds great, that’s awesome!”

Me: (phew)

Thank you! Right now it is V.V.COLD here, and I am still in my pajamas, curled up in a sleeping bag. Extra glad I don't have to get into a work mindset!
