marcicat | movie review: Stardust

I was ready to be unimpressed by this movie. (So, low expectations, easier to exceed them.)

And sure, I thought it started kind of slow, and at one point I had to pause it and give my cat a lecture on why you should always wake your partner up instead of sneaking off while they’re asleep.

But! Overall I actually really enjoyed it! It was funny, and cute, and I was impressed that the plot tied back around with the sister. (Although actually, I really thought Septimus was Una in disguise, and didn’t give up on that guess until the rune thing.)
