Friday’s List

1. give the cat the last of his antibiotic ear drops: done! (in a classic example of cat contrariness, *now* he is itching at his ears)

2. record the week’s bills and payments (yikes, but done!)

3. laundry: should do it, but we’ve got no hot water right now, so it’s like approved procrastination

4. go outside: should do it, but — see above — we’re doing the “wait for a repair person” dance of uselessness at the moment, so someone has to stay home

5. that leaves… watch Doctor Who? (Woohooo!)

I can't tell whether it's a good thing to be getting the dvds through netflix (one at a time), so I can't just power through the whole season in a weekend, or a bad thing, because, you know, I can't power through the whole season in a weekend.

(And thank you -- the cat has always seemed to be feeling fine, which is what made the 'give him these antibiotic ear drops twice a day for fourteen days to clear up this ear infection -- in both ears' so frustrating. We're done now, thank goodness!)
