The news was cheerfully reporting about the newest debacle—the phrase “rogue AI” was repeated so often that Foggy was fairly sure that their lives had just taken a sharp swerve into Sci-Fi territory.

“Amen to that,” Claire muttered, as Foggy carefully unplugged all electronics. It might be paranoia, but today had successfully proved that the machines were out to get them, so he’d rather be safe than sorry.
