nano Monday #4
Nov. 23rd, 2015 07:24 amWell, here we are. Monday #4. With eight days (and about 13,000 words) left to go, this is that point in the month where I look at what I’ve written and think:
“What a bunch of crap.”
On the other hand, there sure is a lot of it!
It’s also the point in the month where I remind myself of this:
If I saw a painter saying, “I’m going to paint something everyday in November,” I would think that was awesome! What great practice they are getting! What a fun way to try new techniques and explore new subjects — and since the goal is all about the quantity of output, not the quality, winning doesn’t mean creating a masterpiece. It just means creating.
(There’s a story that goes around tumblr about a pottery class, that is explained over here much more clearly than my example. I have no idea if it’s a true story or not. I was going to check but I got distracted researching the Secretary of Education instead.)
WRITE ON!

"There sure is a lot of it" made me laugh - I'm so with you, and I don't even have that much! But it's true! Whatever we've done, there sure is a lot of it...
You rock xoxo Happy Wednesday!
