This is the snow we were all hoping would turn to rain fast enough that we wouldn’t need to shovel it or clear it off our cars. Since the plow is out in the parking lot right now, that obviously didn’t happen.

On the other hand, my workplace has finally gotten itself fussed to make sure we can all work from home on the new system, which probably means no more serious weather events for the rest of the season.

[Not sure why it took so long to get approved — we were told, at various times: 1) it’s not going to happen; 2) you can’t remote log-in like the old system; 3) it doesn’t work for macs. I can with 100% certainty say that none of those are true, and yet the workplace politics and technological shenanigans behind the switcheroo are so intriguing to me.]
