SPN, the one with the skinwalker!dog
Nov. 13th, 2010 12:15 am1. Cas would like to remind us that sometimes his problems really are more important, and he can’t just show up whenever we want, even if we call ahead.
2. I would like to go on record as saying that if any family pet of ours suddenly transformed into a person, I would be utterly weirded out.
3. I kind of like emo-free Sam. I mean, I feel bad and all, about his soul, but as a viewer it’s kind of a nice change from last season (and the one before, and the one before…)
4. Okay, so in the ‘Lucky meets with a guy in the park at night’ scene, was I the only one who had no idea what was going on? This is what I thought happened: Lucky walks into the park, past the basketball court, hops over a fence, goes across the fenced-in area, makes some hand gestures at the other end of the field, then walks back. It was random. I totally did not see another guy.
5. Best part of the show: next week’s preview. “I feel like the crazy is on me!” It is, Dean. It really is.
6. PS: The premise of this season makes no sense to me. We have (1) war in heaven, with dangerous artifacts ending up on Earth. We have (2) increased and unpredictable ‘monster’ activity, seemingly directed by the Alphas. And we have (3) Crowley as the new king of Hell, who may or may not be looking for Limbo. I don’t get it, but so far I’m still enjoying it more than ‘we’re looking for our dad,’ ‘we’re looking for the yellow-eyed demon,’ ‘we’re looking for [I haven't actually seen seasons 3 and 4 yet], and ‘we’re trying to stop the apocalypse.’
