For some reason, facebook has stopped telling me how many new posts I have waiting. I find myself surprisingly happy with this change.

When I used to visit facebook, there was this background pressure to go actually look at all those new posts. Now that it doesn’t tell me if there’s anything new or not, I can make up the answer on my own. If I’m not feeling it, I just tell myself ‘looks like there are no new posts, go ahead and close on out of this screen!’ Or I’ll tell myself ‘might as well do a quick check just in case,’ and then I’m pleasantly surprised by the new content.

I’ll mark this down as the first time facebook has made a change that improved my experience with the site!
