At Home: Apparently I am allergic to everything blooming right now. I can’t breathe. My throat hurts. I was awake for way too much of last night. ::grump, grump, grump::

At Work: Every once in a while a customer comes in who feels like playing games. I say, “Is your name in the computer?” They say, “Yes.” LONG PAUSE. “What’s your last name?” I finally say. “Oh, you didn’t ask that.” Today? SO MANY CUSTOMERS. Finally I just stopped. I’d say, “Is your name in the computer?” They’d say, “Yes” and I would just let the silence go and go and go. ::grump, grump, grump::

And Finally: We have a daily checklist at work, right? Which is great; it was possibly my idea, so it’s not like I’m down on it or anything. But it does mean that I have to plan not just my day, but *everyone’s* day ahead of time. Today I just want to write: DO YOUR JOB. DON’T BOTHER ME. ::grump, grump, grump::
