daily dose of perspective

Woke up this morning, 34F degrees out. In October, those temps make me:

1. try to remember where I put my gloves
2. repeatedly mention how cold it is
3. turn on the heat in my car

But I remind myself that in March, on the other side of winter, my reaction to a night where the coldest it gets is 34F degrees will be more like:

1. cheerily decide I don’t need gloves
2. repeatedly mention how balmy it is
3. roll down the windows in my car

I’m just not sure if that’s reassuring or worrying.
