weekend prep Wednesday

It’s 4th of July weekend, and that means it’s time for INDEPENDENCE DAY MOVIE VIEWING! That’s right — at some point this weekend (or possibly on the 4th itself), I will be watching INDEPENDENCE DAY and also INDEPENDENCE DAY 2.

(Did the second movie have a special name? I don’t remember. *ETA: it did — Independence Day Resurgence.)

Because nothing says ‘celebrating our freedom’ like ALIEN SPACESHIPS!

(True story: I am the only-slightly-sheepish owner of both Independence Day movies. There was a special offer!)

I am preparing for this annual event by checking itunes to make sure I didn’t dream up purchasing the movies, and adding popcorn to the grocery list.
