(I have just seen some posts recently that have an element of shaming readers who don't comment on things, and I'm just over here like 'wait, but.' Because every writer is different and every fic is different, so it's one of those things where you're really just never going to make everyone happy all the time whether you comment or not, so I think if you do what you feel moved to do and focus on having positive fandom interactions at a level that works for you, then that's awesome and 100% worthwhile whether you comment or not.)
