trick or treat

This will be the first year I'll actually be present in my apartment during trick or treat since I moved here. (First two years it was a week night, and I was working second shift. Last year it was a Saturday, so I was at home!home, probably watching Dancing with the Stars.)
I don't *think* it's going to be anything too noticeable. It's a locked apartment building, it's not like anyone's going door to door unless they already live here. All previous years I've hung a bag of candy on the doorknob with a 'Happy Halloween, help yourself' sign, and it has been only mildly depleted.
(Why did I get three bags of candy this year, then? ::shifty eyes:: Last year someone took all the peanut butter cups! My fave! So I got some backup. I almost got the ginormous bag of smarties, because that is some serious quantity for the cost, but then I imagined my dentist's expression after I spent all of November eating smarties, and decided against it.)
Anyway! Trick or treat is on Sunday, and I'll be here. And after that I can finally start eating all the leftover candy!
