Dear Holiday Planners

Having a holiday on the LAST day of the month is Not Helpful. Especially one that is decoration-intensive. I almost started taking down the Halloween decorations yesterday -- it's not uncommon that I'll try to do some of the month switchover things in the last weekend, especially when the actually end of the month falls so inconveniently mid-week. And then I remembered Halloween HASN'T EVEN HAPPENED YET.

(I mean, I may still switch out the decorations today. I haven't decided.)
