candle answers

I have purchased a Mountain Lodge candle by Yankee Candle. Yes, the one that tumblr talks about. It is -- nice? A bit more "lodge" and less "mountain" than I was expecting. But the picture on the jar is nice, and the color of the candle (a sort of light maroon) is very pretty.

Candle appearance: two thumbs up

Candle burning: 7/10 (the wick is doing a weird uncoiling thing, so I have to trim it each time I burn it, but it has a nice flame and and it's melting evenly so far)

Candle scent: I abstain from scoring; I'm simply enjoying the Mountain Candle mythos.

Overall score: positive
