What’s up with those three tumblr posts that pop up all the time? Like, I get all this new stuff, and then there’s the classics that come back every once in a while with new comments, and then there’s the Three Eternal Posts. They show up pretty much every day, and I have no idea why.

I haven’t liked them or commented on them, and while they are all nice posts, I’m just not sure why tumblr has decided that the three things I need to constantly be reminded of are a tattoo progress report, a recipe for ice cream, and a picture of a tree in winter.

Literal years have passed since the first time I saw these posts. Sometimes I wonder about their creators — how are they doing? Did they ever finish the tattoo sleeve? How big is the tree now?
