Had a fantastic email exchange yesterday with someone, and it went basically like this:

Me: Hey, so we used the chart you sent us to make our version of the chart. I’ve attached ours to this email for review and approval.

Them: Yeah, could you change yours so it matches ours? That’d be great, thanks. I’ve attached both here for comparison.

Me: ::confused:: ::opens both charts::

Me: Uh, not to indicate that you’re reading your own chart wrong. But here’s the thing. You’re reading your own chart wrong. Upside is, pretty sure they already match, and when I say ‘pretty sure’ I mean they do, I’m just trying not to be a jerk about it.

Them: Oh I see that now. Yes, ha ha, of course. Consider it approved, have a great day!

Me: You too, thanks ever so!
