things I like about cutting my own hair:

*can wear pajamas

*don’t have to explain to anyone what I want

*no driving required

things that are a pain about cutting my own hair:

*makes a mess

*pretty sure the back always winds up uneven

Anyway, I’ve been thinking about cutting it super-super-short (like, clippers-required short) for a long time. At least three years, off and on. But I haven’t. (The looming potential of parental disappointment tends to rise up out of the mist, and it just doesn’t seem worth it.) Who knows, though. Miracles happen every day.
