It has now been almost three weeks since I cut my hair. (And maybe, possibly, mixed up the clipper attachments and used the shorter one first.) ((I’M NOT SURE, OKAY, THE COLORS LOOK REALLY SIMILAR AND I MIGHT HAVE GOTTEN CONFUSED!))

It has been a journey! I basically have one big whorl on the top-back of my head, and my “top of my head” hair does like a wave-curl thing. Not a WAVY curl, oh no, this is a full on “looks like a breaking wave and angles across the top of my head like it’s a shoreline” kind of thing.

So right now my hair looks fine from the front, and the back, and even one of the sides, but from the other side the breaking wave effect is super obvious and kind of wacky. It’s hard to tell if it’s getting more or less distinct as my hair grows out.

In conclusion: this has answered so many questions for me about my hair.
